Rotary District 5790 was well represented among the 42,100 and counting Rotary members from 174 countries. Not only do these folks have the excitement of rubbing elbows with a worldwide cultural smorgasbord of Rotary members, they are absorbing like a sponge all the latest and greatest information that Rotary has to offer. For example, on of the items distributed to the district governors in attendance is Rotary Internationals clarification of the RI policy with regards Club and District Activities related to the use of Guns and Weapons. District Rotary members may review that policy by clicking here. Zone 21b and 27 Zone Director also provided a summation of the policy which can be read here.

Recognize the guy on the far left? Non other than our very own PDG Don Mebus from the Rotary Club of Arlington. Don is shown here with Ian Riesling and his wife Juliet.

How about this photo? DIstrict 5790's former head vampire, PDG Chuck Kurtzman of the RC of the Fort Worth South. The Governor's Challenge is going international with Chucks help.

And finally, how about this photo? 2016-2017 DG Mary Ann McDuff with Jeff Seibert, DDS of the Rotary Club of Lewisville Morning and that clubs incoming club President. Hard to believe with 42,100 Rotarians in a humongous venue, but the two just happened to bump into each other at the Presidential Peace Conference session.

Here are some other photo's posted by District 5790 Rotary members. You know them.
