You’re invited to a special meeting of the Rotary Club of Western Fort Worth! Who: Former U.S. Ambassador Sally Cowal, Sr. Vice President, Global Cancer Control, American Cancer Society, Inc. Ambassador Cowal helped found the Joint UN Program on HIV/AIDS, served as founder, president and CEO of the Cuba Policy Foundation and served as a U.S.
Ambassador appointed by former Presidents George H.W. Bush and William J. Clinton. She also served as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, minister counselor for political affairs at the U.S. Mission to the UN, and she currently leads the American Cancer Society’s efforts to reduce the global burden of cancer. 
 
What: Unique Opportunity to Attend This VIP Speaker Session Hear from Ambassador Cowal on everything from the American Cancer Society’s efforts to provide the simplest access to care (basic pain medications) and screening in developing countries to Giving Hope a Home in Kenya to global efforts to eradicate cervical cancer. Prioritizing prevention, detection, access to care, patient support and capacity development, the ACS Global Cancer is working with organizations including Rotary International to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer.
