Raising Money for End Polio Now - Club Challenge

District 5790 has a goal to raise over $70,000 for TRF Polio Plus fund. Beyond asking Rotary members to donate to the fund, the best way to obtain this goal is for each of the 69 chartered clubs in our district to host some type of End Polio Now fund raiser in their community.
Really, the purpose is two-fold. One to help increase donations from the community. Two to create awareness to the challenge we all have to eradicate this dreaded disease.
In this issue of the you will read about two clubs in our district that are hosting End Polio Now Fund Raisers, Arlington RC and the Lewisville Morning RC. The events are very different but both have the same object, creating End Polio Now Awareness and having the community help us raise End Polio Now donations in fun ways.
Polio Eradication Fundraising - In this column we would love to feature your clubs Polio Eradication Fundraising Idea. Does your Club raise Polio eradication funds in a unique way - from your members or the public? If so, please forward th, those ideas to David Hurt or Lori Williams be included in a future Issue. Not only is this an opportunity to brag on your club, End Polio Now passionate Rotary members may wish to attend your event.
