District 5790 Membership Team Tidbits
The Rotary Club of Aledo, was very motivated and educated from their vision training, and have implemented several of the suggested ideas. Our brand new Champions RC had a similar experience earlier this year. It would be very beneficial to the district clubs to schedule this program as soon as the club and Visioning team schedules permit. Would you like more information? Please e-mail Gene Davenport.
District 5790 Director Kay Huse helping clubs achieve Membership Growth Goal
Starting her 3rd year as the District 5790 Membership Chair (she was co-chair last year two years), Kay has demonstrated a great deal of success both as a Rotarian and a member of the Parker County business community where she works as the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce Director of Marketing and Events.

Kay Huse has been an active member of Rotary Club of Weatherford since 2007 and served as president from 2011-2012. She has served on the District 5790 Membership Committee from 2013 to 2017. Her most influential experience in Rotary was the celebration of 100 years of Rotary at the 2009 Rotary International Convention in Birmingham, England. Her visit to the House of Friendship and realization of the diverse projects being carried out by over 2 million Rotarians in the world, won her heart. “So many needs being met by so many Rotarians was a powerful moment and I knew I would always be a Rotarian. My love for humanitarian work and the work of Rotary was an excellent pairing,” she said.
