2016-17 Issue Volume I

Welcome to the 2016-17 Rotary Builder Issue - Volume I

The award is given at the sole discretion of a Club President to a member of his/her club who meets the following criteria:
  • Can be counted on in a time of need
  • Is willing to go the extra mile
  • Can be counted on to get the job done
  • Has not previously received the award
The person receiving the award need not be an officer. The person may be a long term or new member of the club. The President is under no obligation to make the award but is encouraged to do so. The award is normally given during the District Governor’s official visit to the club.

Certainly, the Rotary members selected by their club presidents are the creme de la creme of not only their club but the entire district as well. The purpose of this Rotary Builder News publication is to provide special recognition to each and every one of this year's awardees. This issue includes the Rotary Builders awarded since July 1, 2016.

Congratulations to each awardee in this issue of the Rotary Builder New!

Ways you can be a part of The Rotary Foundation Centennial Celebration

In 2016-17, our Rotary Foundation turns 100. That’s a century of Rotary members changing lives and improving communities all over the world. And that’s definitely something worth celebrating.

Through our Foundation, Rotary members have supported thousands of projects to provide clean water, fight disease, promote peace, provide basic education, and grow local economies. We’ve also been a leader in the fight to eradicate polio worldwide.

What better way is there to start your Centennial Year Celebration than by attending the the 2016 Foundation Gala Centennial Celebration Gala on November 12th at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel from 6 pm until 10 pm.
