DG'S MESSAGE
Membership! That's our focus! Our goal is to grow by 15%.
ATM - Always Think Membership! Turn everything you do – club meetings, service projects, fundraisers, club socials - into a membership event!
Are you holding a Blood Drive? Turn it into a Membership Drive - reach out to the community for donors - everyone who signs up just became a Rotary Prospect! And be sure to have a table with Rotary information as they leave the donor area!
Are you holding a club social? Have every member bring a guest, and voila! - It's a Membership Event!
Do you have a Flag Program? Ask for community volunteers - anyone who volunteers is a great Rotary prospect!
Always Think Membership - It's everyone's job!

North Central Texas Salute to Veterans (NEW Club Opportunity)
We are exploring a new stand-alone club focused on attracting veterans, and individuals with a heart for recognizing, honoring and serving veterans. Kevin Sellers is leading this effort.
380 Providence Village Club (Current Club with a NEW Possibility)
380 is refreshing their club, reaching out to attract new members, and re-establish their impact and service to the community! They have held two meetings on Fridays at 8 am at the Providence Village Town Hall and Court.
Denton-Lake Cities
Denton-Lake Cities is investigating a companion impact club in relationship to a local realty office. Denton-Lake Cities is being creative and innovative!
If you have ideas about expanding your club or launching a new or companion club, contact District Membership Chair Kurt Bartley and the District Membership Success Team. They are ready to partner with you to GROW ROTARY!
I AM SO PROUD OF WHAT ALL OF Y’ALL ARE DOING! LET’S KEEP IT GOING!
October is Polio Month!
In 1988 there were 350,000 new cases of wild polio each year in 125 countries. Today, thanks to the combined efforts of Rotary International, the WHO, the CDC, UNICEF, the Gates Foundation and GAVI, this year we have had only 30 cases in two countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan! Let’s finish the fight!
This year our district is sponsoring Pedaling for Polio (see below). For a list of club polio events around the district, see Club Events.
PEDALING FOR POLIO
Join us for a an easy-paced 25-mile ride in the Grapevine Lake area to raise money for PolioPlus! There is NO FEE to join the team! Non-Rotarians can join too!
Click on the logo above to DONATE or to JOIN THE TEAM and set up your fundraising page. (It only takes a few seconds, really!) Then share your page with club members, friends and family, and start raising fund for the fight against polio! If you're not a cyclist or can't come that day, join the team anyway and raise money for PolioPlus! Cycle on your own, or have a completely different event!
Rotarians donors automatically get Paul Harris credit! Donations from non-Rotarians count as donations form your club!
And remember - ALL DONATIONS ARE MATCHED 2:1 BY THE GATES FOUNDATION!
