Gala Silent Auction — What Will Your Club Have in the Basket?
The District Foundation Gala is around the corner and we need each club to donate to the silent & live auction.
With the District Foundation Gala just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what your club will donate for the silent and live auction.
Our goal is to have 100% club participation, with each club donating at least one item for the silent or live auction.
Each auction item must have a value of at least $100. But what we really hope to see are "priceless" items such as a weekend at a hunting lodge, a week at a ski house, dinner with a local celebrity, tickets to sporting events, etc.
Great auction items are those that make one eager to bid—something that is unique and popular. So think about donating something exciting—something the other clubs will talk about!
Some other auction ideas include: wine, food, golf outings, jewelry, iPads, & luxury items.
If you prefer, you can also send a check to the district and we will purchase an item on your behalf. Checks should be made out to Rotary District 5790 and must specifically say “for auction
The deadline for auction items is the end of October. So please download and fill out the Auction Donation Form which has more details, including contact information if you have any questions!
Remember, this is our chance to show our District how much we appreciate Rotary, its benefits, and all that it does for our community and for the world!
