Vocational Service focuses on:
  1. Adherence to and promotion of the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including fair treatment of employers, employees, associates, competitors, and the public.
  2. The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, not just those that are pursued by Rotarians.
  3. The contribution of your vocational talents to solving the problems of society and meeting the needs of the community.

As a district, we promote 3 district wide activities that highlight these three tenants. District Vocational Committee Chair Chuck Chambers guides the district efforts.

This years Four Way Test Speech Contest will be discussed in detail in an article prepared by Janelle Kavanaugh.

The Grapevine Rotary Club has shared in their article how their club has implemented the Rotary International Teacher Exchange (RITE) by partnering with clubs in Buenos Aires.

And lastly, the district actively promotes the Rotary Action Groups.  Click here for more details.

Also, PDG Paul Geisel is spearheading a future Vocational Training Team effort that is being formulated and developed. More information will be provided when the program is ready for implementation in our district.
