Easy ways to participate:
Host a book drive, volunteer to read at a school/library, or support teachers with classroom supplies.  I encourage clubs to send a photo and a one-sentence impact story to the district.

September is
Basic Education and Literacy Month.
Reminding us that literacy changes lives by opening doors to education, opportunity, and hope. This month, I encourage every Rotarian in District 5790 to Get in the Game for Literacy. Read with a child, donate books, mentor a student, or support a local literacy project. Every act makes a difference. Together, we can strengthen our communities—one reader at a time.
